Thanks, Tara. Actually… I do recommend something like “Visual Literacy: A Conceptual Approach to Solving Graphic Problems”, by Judith and Richard Wilde, which deals with the basic visual communication skills for tackling the problems I outline in this article. But I don’t have any specific recommendation on identity/brand/logo books at this time. I am actually very outdated regarding this subject, and that is what amazes me: people who should be up to date are churning out mind-boggling, badly designed logos.
